From Lanvins Fall/Winter 2009 collections comes the Mid Top Boat sneakers. This high top boat shoe features a leather lace that goes around the ankle; and a navy and brown upper and white sole . For approximately $800 a pair, this collection has been seen being patronized by rap artists and other celebrities. Personally, my overall impression is that it looks comfortable enough to wear for prolonged periods.  And with the high top design, I would like to believe that it gives ample support for walking around. I do like the colorway involved in this pair, it somehow reminds me of those afternoons hiking in the woods. But of course, this collection is designed specifically for street-wear.
